Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and tool drawings/designs and implement engineering changes on molds and tools.

• Troubleshoot, solve and perform mold and tooling repairs and retrofit work.

• Repair hot runners systems, valve operated gating systems, water leaks, damages, etc.

• Perform mold repair and troubleshooting activities in the press during production runs.

• Perform regular mold preventive maintenance activities.

• Understanding of insert and version changes on molds.

• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required.

• Knowledge of hand tool use and care.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of continuous employment

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Blueprint reading

• Electrical troubleshooting
