Description:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Build, lead, and train a cohesive team for maintenance and engineering employees focused on company objectives of safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
2. Oversee all corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems.
3. Oversee the design, planning, and execution of capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
4. Drive and apply lean principles to the maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase the throughput.
5. Use data collection processes to evaluate unplanned downtime and implement corrective actions to drive metric improvements.
6. Maintain spend forecast and approve monthly R& M spend for the facility.
7. Organize, lead, and track capital projects.
8. Partner with production and quality teams to introduce new processes, improve existing equipment, and support operational excellence.
9. Maintain facility standards.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification:
Level Required
Bachelor's Degree - Technical
Management or Plastics Engineering
RJG Training Certifications - Systematic
Level Desired
Master's Degree
Work Experience:
Required
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience
• 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment
Desired
• Experience in injection molding, tooling management, and facility maintenance

9. Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing, including its safe usage, maintenance and storage
10. Knowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturing processes
11. Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of the employees, environment and site
Travel Requirements
• 5% - 15% travel
• Valid driver's license required/Motor Vehicle Report Required
