What You’ll Get to Do
The National Account Manager specializing in the furniture original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vertical is responsible for establishing and nurturing key accounts, As the NAM of furniture OEM’s, you will be responsible for the end-to end commercial customer journey (any relationship management and business development activities) related to all of the dedicated portfolio of accounts in the assigned scope of responsibility. This role requires significant travel and proximity to a major airport, facilitating the development of long-term relationships and multi-year contracts. The candidate will need to have strong entrepreneurial skills in the Furniture OEM segment to evolve the position and double revenue sales in the next 18 months.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Account Management: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with national accounts in the specialty furniture OEM sector, aligning with their specific needs and objectives.
  • Sales Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand sales within existing accounts and attract new business. Monitors monthly performance (pipeline, wins, losses, RFP opportunities, consulting activities, financial related including Days Sales Outstanding and Credit) against set targets, and ensures immediate actions taken in case of deviations (incl timely / accurate reporting). Directly manages the furniture OEM portfolio in accordance with targets and goals based on the company guideline and create account plans for the furniture OEM industry and templated signed by the Sales SVP.
  • Client Support: Deliver exceptional service and support, promptly addressing client issues and concerns. Conduct regular and structured review sessions with assigned customers including process for continuous improvement and innovation, review of customer strategy and priorities as well as operational excellence delivery
  • Programmatic Selling & Lifecycle Management
    • Develop multi-year account programs that align with OEM product lifecycles, including new product introductions, refreshes, and end-of-life transitions.
  • Contract Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize profitability and ensure compliance.
  • OEM Channel Strategy & Pricing
    • Partner with pricing and finance teams to develop OEM-specific pricing models, volume discounts, and rebate structures.
  • Budget Management: Oversee account-related budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
  • Product Customization & Specification Alignment
    • Collaborate with OEM design and engineering teams to align product specifications with furniture manufacturing requirements (e.g., dimensions, finishes, durability standards).
    • Support co-development of custom solutions that integrate glass or hardware into furniture designs.
