What You’ll Get to Do

The Yard Technician is focused on pulling material and reports to the Custom Door Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who responsible, has attention to detail, with good attendance. A vital member of the custom door deptartment, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Read job specifications to pull metal
• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area
• Unload and stacks materials
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
• Be a team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assigned
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment
• Communicate well with peers and management
• Must be able to work 2nd shift, with periods of required overtime

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in operating a forklift to load and unload materials
• Stand and walk for entire shift on concrete, up to 10 hours
• Lift, push, pull or move up to 75lbs individually or 150lbs with a partner
• Stand, stoop, bend twist or sit for long periods of time
