Description:

Job Title: Field Technician
Job Location: Houston, Texas

We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Technician in our Ocean Freight department to service Flexitanks. This is a hybrid positions and will require time to travel and work in the field as well as in the office. This position will be based in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incidents as directed by manager, mitigating product loss, identifying cause of loss and performing root cause analysis and corrective action on the incident failure. Mitigation can include physical transfer of product and physical examination of equipment
  • Record incidents within database and ensure that all are closed with appropriate corrective action in place.
  • Train new loading and discharge facilities on best practices with company equipment offering.
  • Assist in training and auditing depots in North America region.
  • Assist Sales team with customer queries and product training to identify customer requirements and strengthen relationship and confidence.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with company depots and vendors.
  • Support and train Operational and Sales staff on technical matters.

Skills / Requirements:

  • Must be able to work outside of office in the field
  • In possession of or able to obtain a TWIC
  • Able and willing to travel as required within North America, sometimes with unsociable hours
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs

  • Ability to interpret data and come to objective conclusions.
  • Able to work with people from a varied background and relate to people at all levels of an organization
  • High level communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and able to operate with limited guidance in urgent situations once fully trained

Pay Range $59, 730.00 - $79, 640.00+ (Based on Experience)
