SOC Officer Responsibilities Monitor security operations and activity through the Security Operations Center (SOC).Monitor security systems, alarms, cameras, access control systems, and other security technology.Respond promptly to security alerts, incidents, and emergency situations.Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, activity logs, and daily security records.Communicate security concerns and incidents to appropriate M1 Global leadership and client contacts.Follow established emergency response, evacuation, fire safety, and incident reporting procedures.Monitor and document access control activity and unauthorized entry attempts.Coordinate with on-site security personnel, emergency responders, and client stakeholders when required.Identify and escalate suspicious activity, safety concerns, security threats, and operational issues.Maintain strict compliance with M1 Global policies, client procedures, and post orders.Protect confidential security information and maintain professional communication at all times.Support overall site security, operational readiness, and loss prevention initiatives. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in security, security operations, loss prevention, military, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or monitoring environment preferred.Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.Ability to monitor multiple systems and respond appropriately to changing situations.Comfortable using computers, security software, cameras, access control systems, and other technology.Ability to remain focused and attentive during extended periods of monitoring.Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and meet applicable local licensing requirements.Must be professional, dependable, and able to work independently.Unarmed position.
