Provide compassionate and professional solution-focused therapy to individuals seeking support over the phone. Help clients identify challenges, set achievable goals, and develop practical strategies for positive change. Maintaining confidentiality, empathy, and a client-centered approach throughout every interaction, ensuring compliance with all applicable clinical standards and regulations.

Client and colleague Support:

• Deliver professional, solution-focused therapy to clients, ensuring their needs are addressed within the therapeutic framework.

• Provide supervision support to colleagues within the business

Ethical Practice:

• Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines to ensure client safety and trust.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of each session to support continuity of care and meet organizational standards.

Assessment:

• Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' needs and prioritize their goals effectively.

Crisis Management:

• Respond appropriately to clients in distress, escalating cases to crisis intervention services when necessary.

Professional Development:

• Engage in continuous learning and training to stay updated with advancements in counselling techniques and best practices.

Collaboration:

• Work with other professionals or services to provide holistic and well-rounded support for clients.

• Collaborate with other Maximus workstreams to provide wellbeing support to colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic support to individuals via telephone and video conferencing, focusing on identifying challenges and collaboratively exploring practical solutions.

• Use solution-focused techniques to help clients set realistic goals and develop actionable strategies for personal growth and problem resolution.

• Maintain a high standard of confidentiality, professionalism, and empathy to foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Conduct client assessments to determine their immediate needs and tailor the therapeutic approach accordingly.

• Document sessions accurately and maintain detailed client records in compliance with data protection and organizational guidelines.

• Stay updated on best practices and attend relevant training to ensure high-quality service delivery.

• Work collaboratively with other support services or agencies by referring clients when necessary to ensure holistic care.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications:

  • Relevant clinical safeguarding and counselling qualifications and professional accreditations.
  • Member of BACP or an equivalent organisation.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in clinical safeguarding and counselling roles.
  • Experience in working in clinical safeguarding and counselling programs.
  • Experience in managing complex clinical cases and liaising with external agencies.

Travel Requirements - Ability to travel to other office locations and stay away with suitable notice
