The Health TX Eligibility Support project is now accepting applications for a Temporary Admin 1 - IT Asset Management opening.

This is a full-time, temporary position that is responsible for assisting with equipment inventory management for the Eligibility Support project. This position will be located on-site at 11711 I-35 North, San Antonio, TX.

This is a temporary position expected to end at the end of 2024.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Receive inventory, process and/or distribute incoming/outgoing shipments under MAXIMUS guidelines.

- Maintain MAXIMUS PC/accessory stock to established min/max levels on an ongoing basis.

- Conduct quarterly audits to ensure accuracy of asset data and reporting.

- Facilitate the return/replacement of faulty assets through warranty repair with vendors.

- Asset tagging and management of inventory software.

- Coordinate the management and loading of assets into the MAXIMUS asset tracking tool(s). Coordinate asset transfer to designated IT Asset Disposition Vendor.

- Coordinate pickup of recycled equipment.

- Order supplies such as boxes, wrap, tape and asset tags.

- Process returned equipment from remote users which involves, but not limited to, unpacking of boxes, breaking down of boxes, scanning in the inventory into the ITAM system of record, executing diagnostics on the returned equipment, staging usable equipment back into Surplus stock.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

- Receive equipment returned onsite and document in appropriate data repositories, clean/sanitize and provide to the Information Technology team.

- Must always interact with all individuals professionally.

- Inform all necessary stakeholders of successful equipment returns.

- Manage quick response (QR) codes for equipment returns

- Manage equipment information documentation in data repository systems.

- Receive inventory, process and/or distribute incoming/outgoing shipments.

- Maintain PC/accessory stock to established min/max levels on an ongoing basis.

- Organize and maintain Asset area, including inventory of all equipment and accessories (new equipment, intake, and surplus areas as defined).

- Conduct monthly audits to ensure accuracy of asset data and reporting.

- Facilitate the return/replacement of faulty assets through warranty repair with vendors.

- Asset tagging and management of inventory software.

- Coordinate the management and loading of assets into asset tracking tool(s).

- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

- High school diploma or GED required.

- 0-2 years of experience.

- Experience working with IT equipment or in a warehouse setting is preferred.

- Ability to work with the following tools/software: Lansweeper, Outlook, Word, Excel, Coupa and Cherwell.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

Our Health TX ESS program is looking for 1 IT Asset Management Admins to support our San Antonio, TX location!

Program Specific Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.), and data entry skills (Resume used to screen for this)

• Ability to exercise good judgment in working with former employees.

• Strict attention to detail (Resume will be used to screen for this)

• Knowledge in the use of general office equipment.

• Good verbal communication and customer skills required.

• Previous inventory tracking experience or previous experience in the IT field preferred.

• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Travel will be required once a quarter for meetings

• Must be meeting departmental metrics

• Must have excellent attendance

• Must be willing to work onsite

Internal Maximus Staff Requirements:

• Not be on an active DA above a verbal

• Must be in current position 6 months

The selected candidate must live within 70 miles or within distance of 11711 I-35 North, San Antonio Texas and be willing to work onsite.
