Maximus is looking for a COMAD Final Reviewer to support our USAC program located onsite at our Brownsville office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct second (Final) or third (QA) level reviews of commitment adjustments processed by COMAD Initial Reviewers to ensure accuracy and completion according to USAC policies and procedures by performing the following:
- Review COMAD to ensure it was accurately completed and verify that the correct type of COMAD relevant to the violation was selected.
- Communicate with Initial Reviewers to address errors identified, provide guidance and assistance, and direct them to applicable policies and procedures for completing work.
- Ensure that COMAD is warranted and that the appropriate notification to the applicant was sent.
- Ensure that Demand Payment Letters (DPLs) are correctly issued and sent timely to debtors.
- Provide assistance and answer questions from COMAD Initial Reviewers.
- Ensure Redlight reporting is updated accordingly to ensure debts are validated accurately. Also, ensure that all Redlight related actions (86a, NOWA Letters, Dismissal Letters, Payments) are tracked and executed in a timely manner.
- Perform other COMAD reviews of COMAD sub-processes to ensure accuracy.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 6-12 months of related experience.
- 3-6 months of previous experience as COMAD Initial Reviewer.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills required with attention to detail.
- Ability to acquire job skills and learn applicable policies and procedures to complete assignments.
- Ability to read, understand and perform assignments within prescribed guidelines.
- Ability to communicate routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal and external contacts.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
