Position Summary: Quality is responsible forauditing product & raw materials while advising production & operations team members as process sustainment or adjustmentsare required tomeet or exceed customer requirements.

Essential Functions:

• In-person attendance.

• Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-processraw materials orfinished goods.

• Receive and inspect raw materials.

• Test& interpretresults, compare them toestablishedspecifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.

• Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.

• Perform visual inspections of finished products.

• Serve as a technical liaison between quality control and other departments, vendors, or contractors.

• May trainothersincluding operators from production departments.

• May use general hand tools (such as hammers) and office supplies (such as staplers).

• Supports, maintainsand sustains6Sinitiatives.

• Supports Continuous Improvement byparticipatingin and sustaining the MasterBrand Production System (MPS).

• Performs otherduties asassigned by supervisor.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Read tape measures, measure parts, caliper, read order tickets.

• Ability toidentifyparts necessary to assemblecabinetsdoors, drawers and/or complete cabinets by species, sizeand style.

• Knowledge of procedures for the safe and proper handling of hazardous chemicals and materials.

• Understanding ofdecimal/fraction/metric calculation and conversion.

• Learntoidentifycabinet profiles and colorsinvolved in cabinet manufacturing.

• Utilizes electronic email& document management software, andimaging /measurement equipment.

General Requirements:

• Read, write, comprehendand carry out all written and verbal departmental instructions.

• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly workarea, giving safety of self and others a priority.

• Follow all established safety practices and procedures, including reading and understanding material and safety data sheets, lockout policy, and entanglement policy.
