Description:
Job Overview: This position is responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable and cash management functions. The Receivables department handles daily cash management. This includes daily review and tracking of bank accounts, funds availability and cash management. The Supervisor is responsible for oversight of cash receipt lock boxes, credit card merchant accounts, remote deposit transactions, and the processing of customer payments and all bank deposits. Support the department with the workload as needed. Controls all activities in the accounts receivable function. Ensures accurate receivable records and verifies outstanding account balances—extensive knowledge of department processes.
Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all cash received is properly applied via proper management of all cash applications, and assist with processing where needed.
- Oversee the monthly receivables close process to ensure timely completion of the process according to department deadlines.
- Post monthly transactions to maintain the company's account ledgers and prepare reconciliation of Receivables.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate AR balances.
- Creates financial reports relating to accounts receivable functions and monitors department objectives.
- Audit the methods and procedures of the accounts receivable function to improve efficiency.
- Prepare company cash flow forecasts and adhere to Group Treasury guidelines and deadlines.
- Participate in department projects and take an active role in assisting and driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Adhere strictly to the company's internal account control by maintaining outlined financial security.
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Financial Reporting for Receivables and Cash Management functions, including Journal entries, calculations, KPI's, etc.
- Preparation of DSO information on a monthly basis for financial reporting .
- Train and mentor team members to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Special projects as needed and other duties as assigned.
Primary Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in supervising/managing business-to-business Accounts Receivable processing and management in a high transaction volume environment are required.
- Experience with process improvement and automation of tasks utilizing technology.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in the relevant field, including supervisory experience.
- GetPaid and Oracle experience is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and related computer skills, including Excel skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to multiple internal software systems.
