What you will enjoy doing*

  • Lead business development programs to drive industrial gas sales growth across U.S. manufacturing sectors, including aerospace, automotive, additive manufacturing, metals and materials processing, and plastics
  • Develop and execute targeted growth strategies by identifying customer needs, analyzing market trends and competition, and expanding market access through strategic partnerships
  • Build clear, differentiated value propositions and tailored solutions for specific applications and customer segments
  • Drive lead generation, track key projects, and lead go-to-market efforts, including technology launches, campaigns, and sales initiatives
  • Partner closely with regional sales, business development, and commercial teams to identify opportunities, align priorities, and ensure execution from early opportunity through deal closure
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, engineering firms, and industry stakeholders to support growth and market expansion
  • Lead marketing and thought leadership efforts, including trade shows, conferences, case studies, and development of sales enablement tools to support account growth
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on manufacturing markets while collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, R& D, Engineering, and Marketing to drive innovation and feed market insights into the product development pipeline for long-term growth

What makes you great

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in technology, marketing, or technical sales, with at least 5+ years focused on manufacturing markets, industrial gas, or related industries
  • Proven experience selling engineered solutions to industrial and manufacturing customers, with exposure to OEMs or engineering firms preferred
  • Strong understanding of the bulk industrial gas business and how it applies across manufacturing applications is a plus
  • Ability to travel 30-40% as required to support customers, projects, and business development efforts
  • Skilled in sales, market strategy, market planning, and marketing communications (MARCOM), with a focus on driving growth and market expansion
  • Strong technical and engineering acumen, with the ability to build value-based solutions and support innovation management
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, lead initiatives, and influence stakeholders to achieve business objectives
