What you will enjoy doing*- In this role, you will lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for static equipment andpackage units
- You will prepare RFQs, analyze supplier quotations, negotiate commercial terms, andrecommend supplier selections
- Further, you will issue purchase orders, manage order confirmations, and ensure compliance withprocurement standards and quality systems
- Following established procurement work processes with a strong focus on accuracyand audit readiness is part of your role
- Responsible for building strong working relationships with procurement, engineering, and projectteams
- You will ensure alignment on technical and commercial requirements and projectpriorities
- Understanding supplier capacity, lead-time constraints, and proactivelycommunicating risks and proposing mitigation plans when needed is crucial to this role
- Additionally, you will monitor supplier performance and escalate issues that may impact projecttimelines or contractual obligations
What makes you great- You have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, BusinessAdministration, or a related field
- A technical background or engineering courseworkis an advantage
- You also have proven experience in procurement or supply chainwithin EPC, oil & gas, energy, petrochemical, industrial gases or heavyindustrial projects
- Familiarity with project driven procurementcycles, expediting, and supplier document management is required for this role
- You have a strong understanding of procurement processes, commercial terms, and contract fundamentals
- Proficiency with ERP systems and procurementtools is required
- Further, you have solid analytical skills for bid evaluation andcost comparison and strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively withengineering, project management, and suppliers
- Additionally, you have a proactive problem-solving mindset with the abilityto manage risks and schedule impacts
