What you will enjoy doing*- In this role, you will support project controls activities from the office, assisting with cost and schedule tracking, progress monitoring, and data analysis for active projects
- You will help collect, organize, and consolidate cost, schedule, and progress data from project teams to support accurate and timely reporting
- You also will assist with maintaining cost and schedule reports, forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring alignment between cost, schedule, and progress information
- Further, you will assist with monitoring project performance against approved budgets and schedules, identifying variances, trends, and potential risks
- Preparing weekly and monthly project controls reports, dashboards, and summaries using Microsoft Excel and standard tools will be part of your role
- Additionally, you will demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and good communication skills in a fast-paced, multi-project office environment
What makes you great- You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field is required for this role
- You have 0-3 years of experience in project controls, cost or schedule engineering, or project coordination; internship or co-op experience is acceptable
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (specifically Excel, including formulas; experience with pivot tables is preferred)
- You have interest in learning project controls systems such as SAP or similar cost and performance management tools
- Basic familiarity with project scheduling concepts and tools (Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project) is a plus for this role
- In addition you have strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and consistent project data
- Good written and verbal communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
