The Koch Global Services (KGS) Cloud Platform team is hiring a Product Owner who will be responsible for the development and execution of our cloud platform strategy. You will be a key player working across the organization to shape and deliver the next-generation cloud platform for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for the success of the platform and will need to work closely with cross-functional teams, including architecture, engineering, operations, FinOps, and our customers.

Our Team

The Koch Global Services Cloud Platform team is a team designed to securely and efficiently provision multi-cloud resources for all Koch businesses. We are responsible to the entire enterprise for designing innovative services, creating and sharing best practices, and providing support for our services. The Cloud Platform team is part of our Cloud & Applications organization which manages manage several enterprise platforms including public cloud, integrations, developer enablement, contact centers, data visualization, and enterprise knowledge.

What You Will Do

  • Partner closely with our customers, the Koch businesses, to help to drive adoption, improve consumer experience, and become a preferred partner to customers.
  • Develop our cloud platform strategy by embracing ambiguity and working with key partners to define the "grey" and connects others to your vision of a better state such as reimagining delivery of AWS IAM
  • You will own developing the product vision and defining the identity of the team. You'll market and share your success stories and lessons learned with internal teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Architecture, Agile teams, and operations) to delivery high quality products that solve customer pain points and mature our platform capabilities
  • You will be responsible for developing the product roadmap, managing the product backlog, user stories, and ensuring the team is prioritizing the highest value initiatives


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Prior experience as a Product Owner, BSA, or a technical role leveraging AWS/Azure
  • Prior experience valuing or prioritizing strategic outcomes
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives while managing competing priorities
  • Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience or familiarity with cloud technologies within their respective IaaS platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Cloud Provider Certifications (AWS / Azure Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of AWS IAM and cloud identity management practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of software configuration and release/deployment (CI/CD) platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging, influencing, and coaching your peers and leaders
  • Prior experience leading others through influence
  • Experience with employing cost-optimization strategies across cloud platforms
  • Awareness & demonstrated experience with implementing platform controls and tools
