What We Are Looking ForPosition Description:
Act as a liaison between the Natural Gas Pipeline Field Operations organization and all supporting and complementary business unit departments and corporate shared services.
- Network with business unit and shared service leadership to develop consistency and efficiencies in processes and procedures.
- Provide performance monitoring assistance to field operations and develop monthly and quarterly performance reports as requested
- Represent the natural gas pipeline operations in corporate and shared services projects and committees.
- Develop O& M and Capital Operations forecast expenses on new projects and acquisitions.
- Represent Kinder Morgan's natural gas pipeline operations in industry group (INGAA, SGA and PRCI) committees and develop as the point of contact for the same industry groups.
- Trouble shoot issues between gas pipeline operations and business unit departments and shared services departments.
- Review and approve operating agreements between KM gas pipelines and other interconnecting parties.
- Provide support on behalf of the gas pipeline operations to corporate committees and management.
What You Will DoJob Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years of pipeline operations, engineering, EHS and/or project management experience.
- Bachelors' Degree with relevant management experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong Safety and Environmental Compliance performance.
- High level of verbal and communication skills.
- High level of organizational skills.
- Proficient with personal productivity software.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Well-rounded pipeline operations experience including experience with pipeline systems, compression, measurement, processing, storage, and gathering system operations.
- Experience with pipeline integrity and compression reliability.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Experience with managing groups of professionals and skilled employees.
- Previous knowledge and networking experience with shared support departments such as Pipeline Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting groups, EHS, Procurement, Business Development, Scheduling, Legal, etc.
