Kinder Morgan, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Tech in Iraan, TX. This is a full-time position, and requiring a high school.

Responsible for the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of equipment within the assigned asset. This position will report to the Production Manager at the Yates Field Unit.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities
- Develop material take-offs
- Ensure all EHS procedures and practices are followed while carrying out tasks
- Diagnose and work to resolve problems
- Plan and schedule work activities
- Maintain good standing with all required training
- Knowledge of construction standards and O& M procedures
What You Need
Minimum requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have completed at least one (1) year at Maintenance Tech 2 or industry equivalent
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by the company and a current, valid State driver's license
- Subject to random drug testing
- Proficient with assigned core computer programs
- Follow work procedures independently on less routine/daily tasks or more complex equipment/processes
- Ability to work from written or verbal instructions
- Proficient at operation of necessary equipment
- Ability to properly prioritize tasks
- Identify problems
- Act as mentor for less experienced employees
- Have the ability to train others
Physical demands:
- Primarily outside work
- Frequently lift and carry, unassisted, items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Walking, climbing, standing, and sitting
- Some inside work for training, working on computer
Working conditions:
- Shift work, alternating days, nights, holidays, weekends
- Overtime required
- Emergency response
- Callouts
- On-call
Supervisory responsibility:

- Associates or technical degree

- Cover relief operating should short staffing occur
- Assist other field assets as needed
