Position Description
The IT Support Analyst provides advanced technical support and operational analysis for enterprise computing environments. This role specializes in customer care and technical support, with demonstrated expertise in computer hardware management, software installation, and end-user support. Must communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users and contributes to staff development, system reliability, and continuous improvement of IT support services.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide advanced technical support and customer service for desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and updates.
• Support network connectivity and server-related issues within defined scope.
• Assist with user account administration, permissions, and access controls.
• Document technical procedures, solutions, and support activities.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software deployment
• Working understanding of networking fundamentals and security principles
• Working understanding of Meridian Document Control Software.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize effectively.
• Experience supporting users in both technical and non-technical roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve technical requests efficiently.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions.
• Experience with Meridian document management software is a plus.
• Experience in a corporate or enterprise IT support environment
• Preferred understanding of AutoCAD and CADWorx Software.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• EDUCATION - Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field & 10 years' experience
• PREFERED CERTIFICATIONS - CompTIA A+, CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) -Networking Fundamentals, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) - Operating Systems, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) - Security Fundamentals
POSITION WORKING CONDITION:
• Corporate Headquarters: Kinder Morgan Building - 1001 Louisiana Street | Houston, TX 77002
• Office cubicle
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Position may require lift of up to 25lbs.
• Some travel to other offices may be required.
• Work Schedule:
• 5-8's schedule (8 hours per day, 5 days a week)
• Work in office Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (Currently)
• Work remotely Thursday & Friday (Currently)
