Position Description:
Provide administrative support to a group of Managers and Supervisors responsible for pipeline operations in Colorado, New Mexico and West Texas. This role may occasionally assist the Operations Director and Vice President with general administrative tasks.
Job level commensurate with experience and skill set.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Review damage prevention one call tickets for accuracy.
2. Perform the coding of vendor invoices.
3. Provide assistance with the preparation of AFE's, purchase orders, work directives and budgeting.
4. Assist with preparation and creation of presentations and scorecards.
5. Support management with coordination of travel plans, meetings, arrangements, and calendars using various meeting tools such as Microsoft TEAMs, audio conferencing, Outlook, etc.
6. General administrative tasks as required.
Required experience / Skills / Knowledge:
1. Minimum of 3 years prior administrative assistant or similar background experience.
2. Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with internal departments, vendors and customers.
3. Intermediate to advanced proficiency level in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
4. Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to interact with individuals at all levels in the organization.
5. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions).
6. Ability to work in a team atmosphere, take direction from Supervisor(s), focus attention on details, follow work rules and adhere to work schedules.
7. Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal direct supervision.
8. Must be capable of completing and tracking multiple tasks simultaneously, managing priorities and keeping team members informed.
9. Proven organizational and time management skills required.
10. Ability to problem solve and trouble-shoot
11. Experience with one call/damage prevention
Position Requirements
Education required:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor degree and/or associate degree is preferred
