Description:

Job Summary:

Responsible for tracking fleet age, maintenance for leased vehicles, training on telematics system and supporting IVMS Manager. This role involves maintaining reporting analytics for fleet compliance, optimizing fleet performance and supporting operations with safe vehicle operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Primary contact for vehicle leasing and rental agencies
  • Monitor asset registrations, IFTA and IRP vehicles while working closely with JJ Keller, Service Managers, Area Directors and District Managers
  • Assist with monitoring the age and utilization of fleet vehicles
  • Provide reminders to operations for routing maintenance and servicing of leased vehicles
  • Work with IVMS Manager and DOT specialist to maintain accurate fleet reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with IVMS Manager and Sr. Director of Asset Management to address changes to fleet status and critical information to develop annual fleet assessment review
  • Utilize existing reports to monitor fleet maintenance, lease, and fuel consumption to identify annual cost and year-end analysis
  • Provide comprehensive training on the telematics system to various levels of operations
  • Assist the IVMS Manager in troubleshooting operational issues related to the telematics system
  • Work closely with the IVMS Manager to promote safe driving practices. Develop training materials as needed to ensure optimal use of telematics system
  • Support IVMS Manager by analyzing overall fleet performance to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Assist in modifications to driver, fleet users and vehicle profile data as changes occur
  • Work with the IVMS manager and VP of Risk and Compliance to provide the required data and analysis after a motor vehicle collision


Required Qualifications:
  • Critical thinking mindset
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of or experience with (IVMS) In Vehicle Monitoring Systems
  • Background in safety or DOT compliance
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Word and Excel
  • Strong communications and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage tasks independently
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to follow up on tasks


Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma required. Associates Degree or some college preferred.
