PENDING CONTRACT AWARD

AIRCREW SURVIVAL FLIGHT EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN II (A.62)

Location: NAS JRB Fort Worth, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite
Clearance: Secret | CAC required

Summary

Provides Organizational- and Intermediate-level aircraft maintenance support on C-130 aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.

Performs senior-level inspection, maintenance, and certification of aircrew survival and life-support equipment.

Essential Functions
  • Perform complex aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification
  • Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systems
  • Lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level mechanics
  • Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs
Duties
  • Inspect, repair, and certify ALSS equipment
  • Maintain training, qualification, and inspection records
  • Support audits and safety inspections
Qualifications
  • "PR" School or equivalent required
  • 4+ years related experience required
  • Secret clearance required
Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and vision to use tools and inspect aircraft systems. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Compensation
  • $37.83/hour + $2.65 H& W
