DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered. or as Software Engineer, Computer System Engineer/Analyst, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Designing and developing financial or web banking applications using JavaScript; Designing and developing financial or web banking applications using NodeJS; Designing and developing financial or web banking applications using Java; Designing and developing financial or web banking applications using J2EE; Designing and developing financial or web banking applications using JSON; Designing and developing financial or web banking applications using Spring; Designing and developing financial or banking software using Agile SDLC; Designing and developing financial or banking software using Microservices; Designing and developing financial or banking software using the REST framework; Infrastructure and Apache Tomcat server scripting and automation using Unix; Building and deploying financial or banking software using Maven; Building and deploying financial or banking software using Jenkins; Logging and monitoring financial or banking software using Splunk; Logging and monitoring financial and banking software using Dynatrace; Designing and developing database schema for financial or banking software using Oracle; Testing financial or banking software using Junit; Testing financial or banking software using Automated Testing; Testing financial or banking software using Functional Testing; Testing financial or banking software using Manual Testing; Testing financial or banking software using Unit Testing; Testing financial or banking software using User Acceptance Testing.
