DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases, automation of scenarios and other test artifacts, including test datasets and data validation. Engage in design of plans, scenarios, test and deliver the products. Identify the scope for automation in testing and create framework and automation scripts. Develop and assist with implementation of testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability. Perform native automation (xcuitest) using swift code for payments products in iOS devices. Work closely with Mobile Solution Engineering team to understand the specifics of the Application. Responsible for mobile device and operating platform on which the Application would run and due considerations. Implement the design pattern page object model (POM). Develop and implement the step definitions using java and persona property files. Develop BDD tests by writing features and step definitions. Perform application compatibility testing using different mobile devices for iOS and Android platforms. Integrate the automation framework. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Create shell scripts and bat files to run the automation suite from command line. Perform root cause analysis to identify and recommend test scope, and test approach improvements. Maintain dependencies in Maven for consistency and reusability of the libraries. Develop and maintain testing at scale on Cloud platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
