Job summary:
As a Loan Servicing Analyst within the Loan Servicing team, you independently execute servicing and research activities that support timely, accurate, and high-quality client service. You resolve escrow-related requests from internal and external stakeholders, process transactions, and research exceptions to identify root causes and practical solutions. You help keep procedures and system documentation current and accurate, supporting a well-controlled operating environment. You also contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance accuracy, speed, and client experience.

In this role, you will act as a point of contact for escrow servicing questions and will apply loan documents, servicing agreements, and internal controls to day-to-day decision-making. You'll partner closely with teammates and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and reduce repeat issues. You'll provide guidance to junior team members and share best practices to strengthen team performance. You'll also support process and system changes through feedback and user testing.

Job responsibilities:
  • Manage and respond to escrow servicing inquiries and transaction-related requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Execute escrow processing and reconciliation activities with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Research escrow exceptions and discrepancies using thorough fact-finding and analysis
  • Identify root causes, recommend practical solutions, and escalate only highly complex or unprecedented issues with proposed paths forward
  • Process servicing transactions in accordance with loan documents, servicing agreements, policies, and controls
  • Document outcomes, decisions, and supporting detail to maintain a clear audit trail
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve breaks and deliver positive client outcomes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying enhancements that improve quality, speed, and service
  • Participate in system enhancement efforts by providing process input and completing user testing activities
  • Update procedures, job aids, and system documentation to reflect policy, regulatory, or system changes
  • Plan and prioritize work independently to meet deadlines across competing requests


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Three years of experience in banking operations, loan servicing, mortgage servicing, financial services, or accounting
  • Experience processing and reconciling escrow accounts or similar account reconciliation work
  • Ability to interpret and apply loan documents, servicing agreements, policies, and control requirements
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including structured fact-finding and exception research
  • Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on accuracy in reporting and documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a client-service mindset
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with partners across functions and levels
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (for example: formulas, pivot tables, and lookups)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Experience in commercial loan servicing
  • Experience in accounting functions supporting loan operations
  • Experience acting as a subject matter resource and providing day-to-day guidance to junior team members
  • Experience supporting system enhancements, including user acceptance testing
  • Experience updating procedures, job aids, and operational documentation
  • Demonstrated involvement in continuous improvement efforts that reduce errors or cycle time
  • Familiarity with commercial banking products and operational workflows

  • Work schedules will be full-time in office, on a 40-hour per week schedule.
