Job Summary: The
Optimization Senior Associate role is part of the
Optimization, Insights, & Development (OID) team within
Shared Services - Client Onboarding & Service. The OID team is dedicated to implementing foundational, measurable process improvements for operations teams in the COS organization, aiming to boost efficiency and improve both client and employee experiences. This role is ideal for individuals who are highly organized, execution-focused, and comfortable collaborating across multiple functions. You will spearhead tactical process improvement initiatives - from intake to implementation - and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: - Identify inefficient, manual, or redundant processes and lead tactical improvement efforts.
- Manage initiatives from problem definition through implementation and post-delivery measurement.
- Apply appropriate methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, etc.) based on the problem statement.
- Define KPIs and deliver quantifiable results that reflect business outcomes (e.g., improved average processing time, error reduction, enhanced controls).
- Proactively engage partners and stakeholders across functions to drive alignment and remove execution barriers.
- Create and maintain clear and structured documentation, including tailoring presentation materials for various audiences (e.g., internal/OID vs. executive leadership).
- Ensure all process changes comply with firmwide policies, risk controls, and compliance standards.
- Share insights and best practices to support continuous improvement across Shared Services.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Experience and proven ability to gather and analyze complex processes, developing accurate conclusions with sufficient comprehension of the business to understand risk implications.
- Experience in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with applying process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis to guide decisions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and environments, with a continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Bachelor's or higher degree.
- Advanced skills and understanding of business analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus.
