As a Director of Data Architecture at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking Home and Auto Lending Technology team, you lead a specific area architecture and drive impact within teams, technologies, and projects across departments. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of data architecture applications, processes, and product management to lead multiple complex projects and initiatives, make key decisions, and drive innovation to achieve the target state architecture goals.

Job responsibilities
  • Receiving Formal training on Data Architecture and AWS Cloud Experience
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key partners and business leaders to define business requirements and processes, make recommendations, and lead shaping of target state architecture and execution roadmaps
  • Collaborate with the architecture community across Community and Consumer Bank at JPMC to ensure alignment across technology standards, business and data strategies
  • Develop and review architecture and design documentation while identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy and Drive architecture governance process(es)
  • Work with technology teams and business stakeholders to provide trusted advice across strategy and implementation
  • Act as highest-level technical expert, resolving issues, assessing any potential risks and identifying solutions across the portfolio
  • Identify new opportunities to improve data products and provide input and support to the business driving adoption
  • Provide technical guidance to product and engineering team(s) as appropriate and perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on Data Architecture concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading Data Architects to manage, anticipate and solve complex data architecture items
  • 4+ years of AWS cloud experience
  • 3+ years of experience building data products
  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise data governance Experience developing and leading cross-functional teams of data architects
  • Ability to implement common data management and reporting technologies, as well as the basics of columnar and NoSQL databases, data visualization, unstructured data, and predictive analytics
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • Ability to formulate Data Strategy, Conceptual Architecture and work with development teams to execute the strategy with a solid grasp of relational and non-relational database technologies and experience with event driven architecture
