Job Summary: Digital Enterprise Architect

Digital Enterprise Architect’s role will focus on cross domain business optimization and transformational efforts which involve customer experience, systems integration, data alignment, digital technologies, IT governance, and thought leadership. This role will be responsible for understanding the Inogen process, application portfolio and overall data landscape to identify duplication, gaps, technical debt, risks, data alignment, integration opportunities, and new technologies as part of assisting the business in translating strategy into capabilities and future state to achieve strategic business outcomes.

Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)

Digital Enterprise Architect

  • Solution Design: Develop and articulate comprehensive business requirements into scalable and flexible technology solutions, emphasizing user-centric designs for customer and patient portals, enhancing accessibility, functionality, security, and build overall architecture documentation.
  • Technology Leadership: Lead the exploration and adoption of cutting-edge technologies and trends, establishing yourself as a pivotal advisor to both IT and business leadership on the strategic application of technology to advance business functions.
  • Integration & Data Architecture: Spearhead the design and execution of sophisticated data flow systems for extensive projects, prioritizing the enhancement of business processes and the integration of systems using state-of-the-art standards and technologies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage closely with the Enterprise Transformation Office, IT, and business divisions to guarantee the timely and successful delivery of technology solutions that substantially elevate business value and user satisfaction.
  • Security and Compliance: Champion the identification and resolution of potential security risks in technology solutions, including the strategic implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all customer and patient-facing platforms to ensure utmost security and compliance.
  • Service Management: Utilize advanced platforms like ServiceNow to elevate IT service management, streamline operations, and significantly improve service delivery, ensuring a seamless and responsive IT infrastructure.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Foster an environment of continuous learning and development within the technology team, encouraging innovation, and staying ahead of technology curves.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and ensure they align with the organization's needs and goals.

Qualifications (Experience and Education)

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related fields. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Proven capability to communicate complex solutions effectively across various stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, including extensive experience in designing and implementing digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing customer and patient portals, other omni-channel features with a strong focus on data privacy and security.
  • Experience with CRM & ERP (Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow) applications and integration Experience leveraging leading middleware platforms (Boomi or equivalent).
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Data Platforms (e.g., Snowflake, FiveTran, PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Proven knowledge of healthcare and regional information security best practices and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR etc.).
  • Solid understanding of technology methodologies, best practices, delivery models, or frameworks, particularly in the areas of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in IT development & service management platforms like ServiceNow, JIRA.
  • Familiarity with Medical IoT devices and their integration into healthcare systems.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in healthcare.
  • A combination of education, training, and experience that equates to the qualifications and endows the candidate with the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.
