The Restaurant Server at Hotel Ella is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience through warm, attentive, and professional service in a refined hospitality setting. This role greets guests promptly, guides them through the menu, takes and enters food and beverage orders accurately into the POS system, delivers meals and drinks in a timely manner, and anticipates guest needs throughout service. Servers are expected to maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, beverage options, and proper plating standards in order to confidently answer questions, make recommendations, and increase check averages through thoughtful suggestive selling. This position also supports the overall flow of the restaurant by clearing and resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness and organization of service stations, assisting with room service or take-out orders when needed, and completing opening and closing side work. Success in this role requires excellent communication, professionalism, composure under pressure, strong multitasking ability, and a genuine passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate creates a welcoming atmosphere, works collaboratively with the team, follows all safety and service standards, and helps ensure every guest leaves with a memorable impression of Hotel Ella. Experience as a server is preferred, and candidates must be of legal age if serving alcohol.
