Job Description:

GreenLake Cloud Platform is an internally developed innovative cloud-stack that powers HPE's Cloud Solutions. The GreenLake Cloud Platform is a unified operational experience that provides a simplified view and access to all cloud services, spanning the entire HPE portfolio, with single sign-on access, security, compliance, elasticity, and data protection. The Greenlake Cloud Platform is the foundation to a rich set of cloud services in networking, data services, high performance computing and compute operations management.

About the Job:
  • Manages and oversees a program involving one or more functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a subsystem or component of a product or service offering.
  • Ensure alignment of programs with organizational vision and strategy.
  • Work with teams across the globe to produce accurate and realistic delivery schedules, including go-to-market launch dates.
  • Design and implement program principles that define program deliverables, goals, and metrics.
  • Coordinates activities of supporting project teams and internal and external development partners
  • Tracks progress against established plans and decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
  • Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue assessment to product stakeholders.
  • Oversees and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
  • Manage product team and project resources and drive them to a common delivery goal in line with product management expectations.
  • Identify and manage risk and change control across the program and identify dependencies between programs and workstreams.
  • Recommend and deliver reporting & KPIs to enable effective decision-making for the program stakeholders.
  • Promote the use of best practice frameworks to deliver efficiencies.
  • Assess project retrospectives and trends by engaging with different product workstreams.

About You:
  • Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results and negotiate options at management levels.
  • Strong Program Management skills
  • Outstanding leadership and organization skills
  • Ability to quickly understand new products and projects and how they align with the organizational strategy and vision.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with individuals across disparate geographic locations and teams.
  • Strong listening, data collection, and reporting skills.
  • Recognize and evaluate the organization's impact on project scope and anticipate consequences of alternative actions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably up and down the management structure.
  • Ability to manage program conflicts as well as come up with creative solutions.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and approaches.
  • Solid understanding of product release management, the customer, the marketplace, the business, industry trends, best practices, and agile methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, MS Project, Jira, Confluence, PowerBI
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
  • Very Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and end-to-end product launch processes.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
PMP/PMI certification preferred.
Typically 4 + years of experience

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S. -based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $89, 400.00 - $206, 500.00
