Your Job

Guardian Glass is looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in Corsicana, TX.

Reporting to the Process Manager, you will join the existing Process Engineering team to provide technical support for the production lines. You will be responsible for creating value through process improvement with a clear focus on safety, quality and production.

What You Will Do
  • Utilize SPC, statistical methods and data analysis to improve production processes
  • Develop and maintain live process monitoring capabilities along with operational reaction plans
  • Establish operating parameters processes, conduct optimization experiments and establish best practices and procedures for good glass production
  • Troubleshoot problems that occur during the manufacturing process
  • Identify and drive strategic initiatives to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency
  • Lead complex projects in a team-based environment
  • Support the Operations team in a 24/7 environment


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience using statistical methods and analysis techniques
  • Process or Manufacturing Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in float glass manufacturing processes
