Description:

Position Summary
Toal Filtration Services is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Service Manager to lead our service department and drive sustainable growth. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong technical background, proven operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll oversee all aspects of service operations, driving efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the service department, ensuring high performance, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet or exceed the company's annual sales and service goals
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue, labor efficiency, customer retention, and upsell performance
  • Manage team scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
  • Address customer escalations promptly and professionally to maintain strong client relationships
  • Partner with sales and other departments to strengthen collaboration and drive business growth
  • Review financial reports and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize profitability

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role within field services, manufacturing, or industrial operations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage departmental budgets and achieve sales or revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of service operations, customer service excellence, and team leadership
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Technical knowledge of filtration systems or industrial services (preferred but not required)

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of service or business management experience required
  • Previous experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude required
  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Filtration or industrial experience strongly preferred

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in good standing
  • Must have the ability to pass customer background checks, drug tests, and other compliance screenings as required

Physical Demands
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle tools or controls, reach with arms, climb stairs or ladders (rated for 250 lbs or less), balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Regularly lift, move, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead
  • Must be able to climb ladders while carrying weight without exceeding a total 250-lb capacity
  • May be required to work in extreme temperatures, cramped spaces, and environments with high noise and dust
  • Must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment
  • Work performed in various customer facilities, including manufacturing plants and industrial environments

Travel Requirements
  • Travel required as needed to meet the demands of Toal Filtration Services and its customers
