Role Summary A Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing helpful, timely, and professional support to customers. The role focuses on answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience across phone, email, chat, or in-person interactions.
Key Responsibilities - Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and respectfully
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies
- Process orders, returns, exchanges, or account updates
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions
- Follow company procedures and service standards
- Contribute to customer satisfaction and retention goals
Required Skills & Qualifications - Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Active listening and problem-solving abilities
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with customer service software
- Good time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications - Previous customer service or retail experience
- Experience working with ERP systems, Prophet 21 preferred
