Description:

Cougar USA is a leading supplier of water control systems for commercial building applications, specializing in Pre-Engineered and Custom-Designed solutions for water pressure, level, temperature, flow, and quality.

The Aftermarket Sales & Service Manager leads a team of sales and service professionals focused on growing aftermarket revenue and delivering exceptional customer service across all product lines. This role ensures that Cougar USA customers receive reliable support, optimized system performance, and access to upgrades and service agreements that enhance their total ownership experience. The position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a customer-focused mindset to balance sales growth with operational excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, manage, and hold the Aftermarket sales and service teams accountable for achieving sales and service targets.
 Establish a consistent rhythm of daily, weekly, and monthly huddles, 1: 1s, and team meetings to drive accountability and communication.
 Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members aligned with Cougar's core values.
Sales Strategy & Execution:

 Assign and oversee account territories to ensure market coverage, revenue growth, and client retention.
 Identify new business opportunities within the existing customer base and service footprint.
Service Operations Management:
 Build and manage a service team equipped to perform maintenance, warranty, and startup work efficiently and profitably.
 Ensure technicians receive the training, tools, and resources needed to execute projects to Cougar standards.
 Develop and track KPIs for service profitability, response time, and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
 Coordinate with Sales, Projects, and Plan & Spec Teams to ensure seamless transitions between installation, startup, owner training, and ongoing service.
 Work closely with other leadership team members to align aftermarket goals with company objectives.
Metrics/KPIs:
 Aftermarket Sales Growth: Achieve targeted year-over-year increase in service contract and retrofit revenue.
 Service Profitability: Maintain or exceed gross profit goals for service operations.
 Response Time & Completion Rates: Meet established turnaround standards for customer requests and service work.
 Team Performance Cadence: Maintain consistent team meetings, KPI reviews, and accountability metrics.
 Customer Satisfaction & Retention: Monitor and improve customer feedback, repeat business, and contract renewals.

Required Qualifications:
 Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

 Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of water control systems, service agreements, and retrofit.
 Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced technical environment.
 Software Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems, service management tools, and data dashboards.
 Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with customers and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:
 Experience in commercial building water systems, pump controls, or automation systems.
 Working knowledge of Cougar USA's solutions, customers, and sales processes.
 Demonstrated ability to build, train, and retain high-performing service and sales teams.
 Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.#cougarusa
