Description:
Flint Hills Resources is currently seeking a Construction Management Supervisor who is highly motivated to contribute value within the Project Capability Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing small to mid sized capital projects, working collaboratively in a team-based environment. Your leadership will account for and play a crucial role in promoting excellence in the safety, quality, environment, value, and competitiveness of project work.
What You Will Do
As a Construction Management (CM) Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
• Exhibit and actively Promoting PBM culture
• Carry out Koch PBM Supervisor Responsibilities
• Advocate and deliver excellence in Safety and Environmental Stewardship
• Cultivate strong partnerships with TA organization, Project Contractors, and TA Contractors
• Enhance Project TA work processes and tools to develop KPIs/metrics and support other initiatives
• Build capability and top-level performance through the implementation of an effective training program and instilling industry-leading best practices
• Support portfolio resourcing planning
• Accountable to delivering Project and TA milestones within budget and plan from Project initiation to Project Closeout
• Represent Project Construction for TA and Project integration
• Foster teamwork within Construction Management, across the site, and throughout the business
• Oversee TBP TA Program Execution Budgets and Schedules.
• Support developing contract strategies by providing POV on TA and Project work
• Open willingness to change - strong Stewardship, Transformation, and Principled Entrepreneurship qualities
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• 5 Years of Construction Management or Planning Experience in a Refinery/Petrochemical Plant
• Risk-Based, Economic, and Strategic Thinking
• Willingness to travel for Conferences, Contractor visits, and face-to-face Company meetings (10%)
What Will Put You Ahead
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, or continuing education professional certifications.
• Possessing unique skills that offer alternative methods for executing work (scheduling, estimating, engineering, operations, etc.).
• Proven talent in implementing high-performing teams and leaders
• Ability to balance strategic and tactical work
• Past Contracting experience
• A strong knowledge of Technology
This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for un-escorted access to the facility within a specific time period.
