About the Role:
The Dallas Fed is seeking an Energy Program Manager to support the development, alignment, and execution of the organization’s priority energy initiative. The Program Manager will report to the initiative’s Assistant Vice President.
You Will:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the work (budget, scheduling, agenda setting).
- Develop initiative’s workplan and proactively monitor and control all aspects of the projects to provide consistent status reporting to stakeholders regarding project financials, schedule status, risks, issues, business user satisfaction, barriers to success and overall project health.
- Manage stakeholders (Energy working group, CED, BSR, Research, Communications).
- Foster engagement and collaboration within the initiative’s team.
- Proactively identify opportunities to communicate with the initiative’s team, senior executives and Chief of Staff’s Office.
- Participate in the development and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) framework to improve strategic communications with the initiative and solidify information sharing throughout project execution.
- Interpret internal or external issues and recommends solutions/best practices.
- Solve complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.
- May lead functional teams or projects.
- Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Provides support in the development, alignment, and execution of the organization’s priority initiative.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or any other related business field.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Project management skills.
- Proficient knowledge project management tracking tools and productivity suite, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Demonstrates superb planning and prioritizing skills. Proven pro-active, self-directed, results-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to meet objectives and achieve business goals.
- Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate effectively, formally and informally, written and verbal, with colleagues, senior management, and external parties.
- Ability to work with others to achieve a common goal and manage cross-functional and external relationships.
- Experience in or working knowledge of issues related to energy economics, markets, and policy.
- Expertise in building consensus and influencing outcomes among business and subject matter experts.
- Values diverse perspectives and demonstrates high ability to collaborate and balancing stakeholder priorities.
- Demonstrated strategic foresight and ability to determine next steps in an environment of ambiguity.
- Experience using a CRM system and creating usable reports preferred.
- Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.
