Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50, 000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. The Pipeline Compliance Engineer is part of the Transportation Compliance group that maintains a pipeline safety compliance program for all of the Company's hazardous liquids and natural gas pipelines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support Pipeline Compliance initiatives related to test pressure and design pipe calculations per 49 CFR 192 / 195;
- Locate and compile pressure tests into one centralized location to support the Maximum Operating Pressure/Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MOP/MAOP)
- Locate and compile limiting pipe design records to support the MOP/MAOP verification process
- Provide and maintain weekly reports to tasks, goals, scheduling and tracking updates
- Enforce compliance with pipeline safety regulations and Company standards, procedures, and/or processes
- Provide related Engineering support to stakeholders across the Company; including record reviews, material selections, determination of required hydrostatic test pressures, MOP/MAOP calculations, etc.
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Must be results-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
- Excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time is required.
