Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50, 000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. The Associate Network Engineering Analyst will perform the following day to day activities as needed. Build, configure, and deploy network equipment to the field. Assess network requirements for field locations and provide network solution composed of circuits and hardware. Perform general network administrative tasks such as maintaining diagrams, updating the management tools, configuration standardization enforcement. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Work with field techs and other customers to assess network requirements and provide solutions in terms of circuits and hardware
  • Build, configure, and deploy network hardware to the field
  • Maintain network diagrams
  • Maintain network tools
  • Perform general administrative tasks as directed by other network architects such as configuration validations, configuration clean-up, IP changes, firewall updates.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
  • Knowledge of basic network fundamentals including switching and routing.
  • Experience working with Cisco CLI to configure and manage network devices.
  • College or technical school degree is preferred, but not required
  • Possessing any of the following certifications would be highly desired: CCNA or CCNP
  • 1 years of Large Corporation network engineering or support experience (preferably oil and gas related)
  • 2 years working with Cisco network equipment
  • Scripting knowledge is a plus
  • Firewall management is a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
  • Background in IT Infrastructure and networking
  • Exceptional customer support and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a demanding IT Environment
  • Ability to work and contribute to a team environment to accomplish overall team objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
