If you are a Sales professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you based out of Austin, Texas, Houston, TX, or St. Louis, MO.

In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for leading the growth and development of the modernization program across multiple industries: energy, chemical and hybrid, life sciences and other emerging industries in our Process Systems & Solutions business group.

This is a highly visible role, supporting customers and our network of Impact Partners by leading the modernization program, continuing profitable growth while positioning Emerson in the market as the first choice for projects, consultancy, and lifecycle services.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

  • Drive new customer account development and sales plans and activity with an emphasis on targeting new end-user accounts
  • Drive sales growth of DeltaV and DeltaV SIS within the sales channel and NA Sales team
  • Develop and drive adoption of new platform initiatives and modernization solutions to grow overall systems business
  • Provides project pursuit analysis
  • Delivers proposal guidance through review, editing, and past proposal experience
  • Collaborate with the internal Emerson team across multiple disciplines along with Impact partners
  • Conduct road shows and technical sessions with customers and Impact Partners
  • Gather market intelligence on platforms and solutions
  • Provides coaching to junior team members
  • Proven results within modernization sales or large project sales
  • Gain and garner influence with sponsors and power sponsors at assigned sales targets

WHO YOU ARE:

You are sales leadership serving as a strategic partner to build, grow and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You readily distinguish between what’s relevant and what’s unimportant to make sense of complex situations. You are decisive and make high-quality decisions, even when based on incomplete information or in the face of uncertainty. You convey clear performance expectations and follow up consistently while delegating in a way that empowers ownership.

For this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Process Automation industry
  • Proven results in creating business growth and building effective relationships
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:

  • Engineering Degree
  • 8 years of sales leadership and/or account management experience and industry experience
  • Proven sales record in displacing competitive platforms and finding new customers/ sites.
