Emerson Tool Company is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a new role of IT Warehouse Programmer Analyst in our Pharr, Texas warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless data exchange and collaboration between our company's systems and warehouse automated equipment, enabling efficient warehouse operations and improving supply chain visibility. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Collaborate with internal customers and partners to understand integration requirements of current and new automation equipment
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and landmarks for automation integration projects.
  • Develop technical specifications and support to improve ERP and supply chain processes and communication from both business and technical perspectives
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to integration configurations, processes, and standard methodologies.
  • Conduct integration testing (SIT/UAT) to validate data accuracy, system functionality, and performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and standard methodologies related to warehouse systems integration and automation
  • Supervise ongoing integration processes and system performance to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of experience and education
  • Prior experience (2+ years) in warehouse systems integration, in a logistics or supply chain environment
  • Programming experience in Java, #, .NET, SQL, HTML
  • Familiar with warehouse operations and logistics processes, such as inventory management, order fulfilment, picking and packing processes, and shipping
  • Solid grasp of data exchange protocols and integration methods (APIs)
  • Understanding of transmission protocols (TCP, IP, ARP, etc.)
  • Ability to travel internationally as needs require
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Experience and working knowledge of Oracle ERP and Oracle WMS
  • Working experience with Vertical Lift Machines, automated pick cells, warehouse IoT
  • Experience with PLC integration
  • Ability to code in JavaScript, Python, Oracle PL/SQL
  • Proficient in English / Spanish
