If you are an experienced engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Rogerdale office in Houston, TX you will own and direct the technical standards for our Engineered Systems focusing on Hydrocarbon (Liquid and Gas) and Analytical Systems (Process Gas and Liquid) applications. You will assist with system fabrication/integration, quality testing, inspections, and technical project management.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Work with Solutions Architects to drive the best engineering practices and provide technical leadership in developing cost-effective solutions.
  • Review design documents generated by engineering teams before they are released to customers; perform audits of engineering deliverables against project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Assist project managers understand technical aspects of their projects and assist them address technical issues.
  • Work with the quality team in developing non-conformance reports when quality issues are observed.
  • Participate in factory acceptance testing; assist in addressing punch list items generated during testing.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Instrumentation, Controls or Electrical Engineering is required
  • Six (6) or more years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel to integration facilities in the Houston area
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Eight (8) years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of process gas and analytical systems
  • Previous experience working within Oil and Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical industry
  • Experience or familiarity with National and International Codes / Standards
