Job Summary

As a trusted Principal Enterprise Communications Strategist, you will plan, develop, execute, and measure impactful internal communications initiatives to inform, engage, educate, align, and inspire employees. By creating and disseminating content, this role drives alignment to company priorities and leverages exemplary communication techniques to ensure a strong, connected culture. Demonstrating world-class collaboration practices, you will research information, create comprehensive communications plans, and distribute compelling content across the enterprise. As a member of the Enterprise Communications Team, you will actively assemble and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, leading initiatives to tell incredible company stories and share company information through multiple channels.
Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Develops and executes advanced, integrated communication campaigns that align with business objectives and drive both internal and external engagement.
  • Leads strategic planning, messaging, writing, editing, and content development across multiple channels, including corporate communications, public relations, web, and social media.
  • Acts as a trusted adviser and communications SME, consulting with senior leaders and stakeholders to create and implement tailored communication plans for organizational initiatives and changes.
  • Designs and delivers communication programs and materials for executives and functional leaders, including speeches, presentations, messaging, and townhall support.
  • Champions compelling content creation and storytelling, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand tone and identity across all platforms.
  • Oversees and coordinates a comprehensive communications calendar, integrating internal and external messaging to maintain consistency and maximize impact.
  • Manages complex projects, seamlessly shifting between high-level strategy and hands-on execution to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Advises on sensitive and complex communication matters, including crisis communication, and represents the organization as a credible spokesperson during critical situations.
  • Partners with brand and cross-functional teams to establish and reinforce the company's tone of voice and strategic messaging.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports on the effectiveness of communications initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and embrace emerging trends and technologies.
  • Innovates and leads efforts to enhance communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams), and stays current with digital tools, including AI-powered solutions for content creation and engagement.
  • Proactively supports external communications initiatives, producing high-quality content for social media, media relations, thought leadership, and customer-facing events.
Authorities
  • Budget management responsibility (up to $500K)
  • Signature authority to obligate funds for approved initiatives and projects
  • Vendor recommendation authority for approved initiatives and projects
Business Relationships
  • Collaborates with members of Growth, Strategic Marketing, Brand Strategy, Enterprise Communications, Executive Leadership, Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, Affiliate/Subsidiary Organizational Leaders, Individual Contributors, and others across the total Elbit America enterprise
  • The Enterprise Communications Internal Strategist III is part of the Strategic Marketing/Brand Strategy/Enterprise Communications Team reporting directly to the leader of Enterprise Communications
Education, Experience/Knowledge & License/Certification
  • Accredited four (4) year bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or equivalent
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience required
  • Master's degree a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, etc.)
  • Adobe Creative suite, photography, and videography proficiency strongly preferred
  • Experience in aerospace and defense industries a plus
