Job Description
e3 Partners Ministry is hiring a Human Resources Generalist in Plano, TX. This is a full-time position.
Essential DutiesHR Operations & Employee Support• Assist the Director of HR with day-to-day HR operations, with primary responsibility for support staff HR processes including employee relations support, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and other employee lifecycle activities.• Maintain accurate and complete personnel files and employee records, ensure applicable record-retention requirements are met, and maintain data integrity within the HRIS and other HR systems.• Process routine employment verification requests and other employee documentation in accordance with established procedures.• Respond to employee and general HR inquiries with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. • Facilitate policy overviews and communicate policy updates as directed by the Director of HR. • Process support staff employee lifecycle transactions, including status changes, transfers, and separations; coordinate termination paperwork and workflow; and ensure required documentation, systems, and departmental notifications are completed accurately and timely.Payroll & Compliance• Serve as the primary backup for payroll processing and participate in monthly payroll activities to support accurate and timely payroll administration. • Monitor required employee training and compliance requirements, including harassment prevention, safety, child protection, and other required training. • Maintain current federal and state labor law postings for the home office and applicable electronic locations.Support Staff Recruitment & Onboarding• Coordinate recruitment for support staff positions, including job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and related recruitment processes.• Coordinate onboarding for all support staff, including new-hire HRIS setup, system and facility access, badges, keys, and other onboarding logistics. • Develop and coordinate a structured onboarding schedule for each new member's first two weeks, including meetings, training, orientation activities, and introductions to appropriate teams and systems. • Administer Form I-9 requirements for new support staff employees and maintain centralized Form I-9 records for all employees in accordance with applicable requirements.• Assist the Field Hiring Coordinator with the monthly Field Staff onboarding call, as needed.HR Programs, Systems & Analytics• Assist with HR initiatives such as performance review cycles, compensation benchmarking, job description reviews, employee engagement initiatives, and workforce planning. • Support implementation, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR technology, including the HRIS, applicant tracking, onboarding, and other HR systems. • Analyze HR data and prepare reports, metrics, and other information to support organizational planning and decision-making. • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience. • Participate in and as assigned, lead HR-related special projects.Staff Engagement & Events• Plan and coordinate employee events, celebrations, training activities, retreats, and other mission-aligned staff engagement activities.• Coordinate monthly Lunch & Learns and other employee development or engagement activities.• Collaborate with internal departments, ministry leaders, and external vendors to support successful staff events and initiatives.Home Office Administrative Support• Answer the main Receptionist and HR phone lines and respond to general inquiries as needed.• Manage office supply and snack inventory and coordinate home-office facility work orders.• Serve as the primary administrative contact for e3 events scheduled at The Hope Center.• Perform other duties and HR projects as assigned by the Director of HR. Ministry Responsibilities• Interact with others as an ambassador of Christ and e3 Partners Ministry. • Perform responsibilities in accordance with Scripture, e3's doctrinal beliefs, and biblical standards. • Serve as a representative and messenger of the Christian faith consistent with e3's Doctrinal Statement. • Encourage others toward intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines. • Participate in ministry activities as needed, including donor mailings, donor events, ministry events, and other ministry-wide initiatives.
