Job Description
DFW Healthcare MSO LLC is hiring a Vice President & General Manager, Clinical Research in Addison, TX. This is a full-time position.
Vice President & General Manager, Clinical Research DallasFort Worth, TX (on-site) Full-time Reports directly to the CEO Periodic travel to Arizona Own a business, not a department Most clinical research jobs ask you to run someone else's playbook. This one asks you to write it. IntraCare is a physician-led primary care organization with clinics across Texas and Arizona, and our research division, ClinCare, embeds clinical trials inside the practices patients already trust. Research revenue has grown strongly year over year, the board has funded this role to scale the division severalfold, and the growth plan includes expansion into a second Southwest market. You will run ClinCare as its General Manager, with full P& L ownership, a direct line to the CEO, and the autonomy to build the operation the way you know it should be built. Why point-of-care research matters: patients enroll with doctors they know, in clinics they already visit, supported by a dedicated in-house patient engagement and data team. It is better science, better access for underserved and multilingual communities, and a durable advantage with sponsors. You will be scaling something that works, not rescuing something that doesn't. Why this seat is different Real authority. You report to the CEO, present to the board, and own the division's plan, budget, hiring, and vendor decisions. No committee between you and the outcome.Board-backed mandate. This role exists because the board committed capital to scale research. The investment case is made; your job is execution and growth.A platform, not a startup gamble. You inherit active trials across multiple therapeutic areas, a national sponsor pipeline, physician investigators, an established patient base, and a global support engine for outreach, data, and analytics.Build the second market. You will lead our research expansion into a new Southwest metro, by partnership or de novo, and own the playbook for every market after it.Skin in the game.Compensation is designed so that scaling the division changes your personal economics, not just the company's. What you will own The P& L and the growth plan.Full revenue and cost ownership for the division, with a clear multi-year growth mandate agreed with the CEO and board.Quality and compliance.GCP/ICH standards, IRB relationships, inspection readiness, and the SOP and QC infrastructure of a scaled multi-site operation.Site operations and throughput.Design how research runs inside busy primary care clinics: pre-screening from our own panels, coordinator models, scheduling, and patient show-rate programs that respect both the science and the clinic. The investigator bench.Recruit and develop new PIs and sub-investigators, and launch specialty research lines with partner specialists.Sponsor and CRO growth.Feasibility strategy, study selection, budget and contract negotiation, and the sponsor relationships that produce repeat awards.Patient engagement, with our in-house engine.Partner with our VP of Global Operations on lead generation, outreach capacity, community marketing, and enrollment conversion.Technology and automation. A modern CTMS and eSource stack, EMR-driven recruitment, and automation of everything that doesn't need a human. If you like using data and AI to delete manual work, you'll be home here. What success looks like Year one: the division runs on a scoreboard you built, enrollment conversion is climbing, new studies are starting from your own feasibility pipeline, new investigators are active, and the second market is enrolling.Beyond: a multi-market, multi-specialty research platform with sponsor relationships that come back study after study, and a leadership team you hired and developed. What you bring 815 years in clinical research site operations with clear progression, including multi-site, site-network, SMO, or embedded-research leadership, and a track record of scaling revenue and enrollment.Deep GCP/ICH and inspection-readiness experience on the site side; you have owned audit outcomes, not observed them.CTMS fluency and genuine comfort with data, dashboards, and automation; you can build the report before you ask an analyst to.A commercial record: sponsor relationships you can name, feasibility wins, and budget negotiations that protected margin.A player-coach temperament: hands-on in clinics, energized by being measured, and able to lead physicians with respect and a high standard.Experience embedding research in primary care or community settings strongly preferred; experience serving multilingual patient populations a plus. Compensation and benefits Base salary of approximately $200, 000, calibrated to experience.Substantial annual performance bonus tied to division growth and quality, designed so hitting the plan is materially rewarding.Long-term incentive participation as the division scales, so building durable value benefits you directly.Generous paid time off plus holidays, and the schedule autonomy of a P& L owner.Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Relocation support considered for an exceptional out-of-market candidate. How we work We are operators. Every program here has an owner, a data model, and a number, reviewed weekly. We keep things simple and actionable, we move fast, and leadership is accessible: you will talk to the CEO every week, not every quarter. If you would rather be judged by a scoreboard than a slide, you will fit.
