Description:

We are seeking a MOS Compliance Analyst for the MOS Compliance Services Department.

The MOS Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in providing first-line compliance services, including advisory support and best practice guidance of managerial oversight and internal controls to departmental stakeholders who have entered into Service Level Agreements. This role serves as a vital liaison for stakeholders with internal and external audits/exams. Answers compliance questions/conducts research, and provides compliance services interpretation. Manages the formal member complaint intake and tracking process for stakeholders. Assist in the maintenance of information and documentation retained in the Vendor Management central repository for stakeholders. The role collaborates closely with stakeholders when implementing new or revised compliance requirements.

Experience:

Required

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in regulatory compliance or operational roles within a financial institution.
  • Experience with credit union operations and regulatory compliance, with demonstrated knowledge of federal and state laws related to lending and deposit products (i.e., Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Truth in Savings, Electronic Fund Transfers).
  • Proven ability to interpret complex regulations, laws, and statutes, and translate findings into clear, actionable compliance guidance and written advisories.

Preferred

  • Experience in financial institution products and services, including consumer and business deposits, loans, and ancillary services.
  • Experience working in a Financial Institution (> $1B in assets) and with auditors and regulatory agencies, such as NCUA, FDIC, OCC, or CFPB.

Education:

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field or equivalent experience and knowledge

Licenses & Certifications:

Required

  • Compliance Officer designation or certification, such as America’s Credit Unions Credit Union Compliance Officer (CUCO), is required within 24 months in this role.

Preferred

  • Professional compliance certification such as Credit Union Compliance Officer (CUCO), NAFCU Compliance Officer (NCCO), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or similar credentials

    • Experience drafting and reviewing policies, procedures, and disclosures.

    • Proficiency in managing compliance documentation and preparing for regulatory exams or audits.

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively across departments and with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organization & Time Management
    • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Proven time management and follow-through in deadline-driven environments.
  • Technical Proficiency
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8: 30 am-5: 30 pm

    Salary: $63, 167 Annually; 7.5% bonus potential

    Flexibility: In office, on site; not remote or hybrid

    Level of Work: 2B
