Description:

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Administrative Technician for the Facilities Maintenance Department.

The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the facility management team to ensure the successful competition of facility needs. The position of Facilities Administrative is to maintain all Credit Human facilities in a safe operating condition while completing all facilities activities including remedial repair tasks, preventative maintenance, and office clerical work, limited ordering of equipment, supplies, and services. It requires the performance of increasingly more responsible and varied work to include proficiency of Microsoft Suite skills and experience.

Highlights:

  • Coordinate and follow up with contractors and suppliers on execution of service requests
  • Comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence and memos, and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding
  • Manage smooth follow-up in issue resolution or requests for services, directing contractors, and supporting customers
  • Schedule Preventative Maintenance contracted services and track completion
  • Set up rooms for various functions; move and re-arrange office furniture as required
  • Provide support when conditions arise that need immediate attention

    Education:

    Required

    • 2-year college or technical school; or 6 months to one year experience of increasingly responsible experience in the maintenance, repair and alteration of buildings, grounds, administrative office duties or an equivalent combination of education and experience

      Licenses & Certifications:

      Required

      • Valid motor vehicle operator’s license

        Skills & Knowledge:

        Required

        • Proficient computer skills and software knowledge
        • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint to create and maintain reports and logs
        • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously
        • Exceptional time-management, planning, and administrative skills
        • Knowledge of Electronic File Management
        • Strong execution and follow up skills when assigned a task or project
        • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships
        • Ability to read, write, follow instruction; knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety procedures; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
        • Safely and effectively operate tools and equipment used in the maintenance of buildings and grounds
        • Know and apply safety codes and regulations
        • Knowledge of the types and uses of safety and/or climbing equipment such as scaffolds, ladders, rigging, etc.
        • Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans, blueprints, drawings, etc.
        • Knowledge of the practices and techniques of painting
        • Strong execution and follow up skills when assigned a task or project

        Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7: 00 am-4: 00 pm

        Starting minimum salary: $18.00 an hour
