Description:

We are seeking a Deposit Services Specialist for the DSO Deposit Services Department.

This role requires proficiency in Credit Human core systems, policies, procedures, regulatory and compliance guidelines. Responsibilities include adhering to procedures and addressing issues as they arise, while supporting new share accounts, estate settlements, share certificate adjustments, account file maintenance, teller, and notary duties. Additionally, this role requires effective communication, listening and answering questions, providing accurate information to both Credit Human members and non-member stakeholders. The employee may perform a variety of tasks to maintain operational integrity for Deposit Services while promoting and maintaining the organization’s mission, vision, culture, and strategic objectives.

Highlights:

  • Accurately interpret input support requests and ensure high-quality, timely output aligned with service standards.
  • Monitor, track, and review all support request items, including those in backlog, pending status, or active queues, to ensure timely resolution.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external members through various communication channels.
  • Proactively identify and report potential issues, whether member-related or technical.

Experience:

Required

  • At least 1 year of experience working within a financial institution, demonstrating knowledge of banking or credit union operations.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in back-office operations, including account servicing, file maintenance, and transaction processing

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with core banking systems such as Symitar, Synergy, Synapsys, and Lumin.

  • Familiarity with ChexSystems, Clarke American, and other account verification or check printing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Exposure to teller operations and customer service in a financial setting.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory compliance practices, particularly related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), including CIP, CDD, CTR, SAR, OFAC, and red flag identification.
