Description:

We are seeking a Chattel Loan Processor for the Central Region Loan Origination Department.

The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately and efficiently process and fund all chattel loans received via fax/e-mail including documentation, closing, and funding. In addition, the incumbent must ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, NCUA Regulations, HUD guidelines, and Credit Human Lending Policies.

Highlights:

  • Ensure chattel loan packages are complete to include receipt of collateral documentation and security instruments
  • Prepare and review loan documents before the client issue
  • Verify the accuracy of document requests submitted by brokers and retailers
  • Prepare the closing package and send it to the source/customer for the closing of the loan
  • Review pending list reports daily using the Reports Database
  • Review doc prep deals report to verify deals assigned by the processor and ensure deals are being worked and followed up on in according to benchmarks

Experience:

Required

  • 6 months of customer service experience

Preferred

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Manufactured housing, real estate, or auto loan processing experience

Education:

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent

      Skills & Knowledge:

      Required

      • Type 45 wpm
      • PC skills include Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel
      • Strong math and analytical skills
      • Knowledge of credit union compliance requirements
      • Excellent customer service skills
      • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
      • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
      • Good verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to develop and manage multiple projects

        Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8: 30 am-5: 30 pm

        Level of Work: 1C
