Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION Chubb Group of Insurance Company's is currently seeking an Underwriter to join the Southwest Financial Institutions Team as a Property and Casualty Underwriter.
Main responsibilities include: - Underwrite and negotiate renewals and new business with a defined set of agents within the Southwest Region
- Lines of business include commercial package (including product liability and errors and omissions), automobile, umbrella, international and workers compensation for Life Sciences.
- Achieve favorable rate and retention within given territory
- Underwriting duties will include account rounding and cross selling opportunities.
- Marketing and servicing accounts based on Chubb guidelines
- Develop strong relationships with independent agents and brokers and oversee counterparts in order to successfully manage our business, which may require travel to producer location
