Chromalloy is hiring a Production Supervisor 1st shift in San Antonio, TX. This is a full-time position, and paying $70,400.00–$92,400.00/year.
Job Summary
We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing production teams and support daily execution across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance. This role provides leadership, direction, and coaching to ensure production goals are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, customer service, operational excellence, and employee development
The successful candidate will be responsible for assigning and executing production schedules, developing employees, improving processes, and ensuring customer commitments are met, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals
- Assign, prioritize, and execute daily and weekly production schedules
- Coordinate with Production Control, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and other departments to meet customer commitments
- Ensure materials, supplies, equipment, and staffing are available to support production plans
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, routing instructions, and job orders for employees
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company requirements
- Maintain and improve 5S, housekeeping, and workplace organization standards
- Train, coach, mentor, and develop employees to build capability and performance
- Manage employee performance, attendance, accountability, and development
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, corrective actions, and talent development
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Drive Lean, continuous improvement, and productivity initiatives
- Monitor production metrics and communicate performance results to leadership
- Maintain accurate production, labor, and operational records
- Support customer requirements, audits, and delivery commitments
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning activities
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience; leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and shop floor processes
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Ability to balance employee development with operational results
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- Aerospace, repair station, machining, welding, or inspection experience
- Lean Manufacturing, MOS, 5S, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- A& P License or ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate, if required by site operations
- Experience with production scheduling, workforce planning, and manufacturing metrics
