Description:

CCI is looking to hire a Senior ETRM Application Developer in our Houston, TX or Stamford, CT office to extend its Commodities Trading Application Development team. The role covers work on a broad set of systems covering the life cycle of a commodities trade, including exchange interface, trade entry, confirmation, physical scheduling, p/l processing, risk management, and settlement. Requires excellent software development abilities, experience with multi-tier client/server applications, and strong database development experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Development environment consisting of Java, & Oracle.
  • Experience with source control, build and deployment techniques, full lifecycle management, unit testing, regression testing, and continuous integration testing.
  • Analyze and resolve day-to-day problems; manage multiple concurrent tasks and shifting priorities; interact with technical and user personnel and ability to work with little supervision on assigned tasks.
  • Direct and manage offshore development teams.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience successfully delivering ETRM development and support in a commodity trading company.
  • Experience working with a US based management team and global development team with offshore development.
  • Proven ability to directly interface with business users on the entire SDLC.
  • Significant experience in Triple Point (TPT) CommodityXL (CXL) or similar full scale ETRM system.
  • Experience in interfacing with commodity exchanges (ICE, CME, NYMEX).
  • Working knowledge in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
